Emergency Hotline: 1.800.400.4271

24 hours a day / 7 days a week

What is an Emergency?

Gas leaks, an odor of gas, damaged lines, and carbon monoxide symptoms are all considered emergencies. If you have an emergency, call our emergency hotline at 1-800-400-4271 . Our personnel are ready to assist you 24/7. When in doubt, call us immediately.

If you smell gas, do not attempt to locate the leak. Instead, leave the house or building right away. Do not turn on or off any electrical switches, appliances, or lights, as an electrical charge could create a spark. When you are in a safe place, call the Peoples emergency hotline.

Strengthening the Region with Leadership Pittsburgh

  • Leadership Pittsburgh is the foremost multi-disciplinary leadership organization in Southwestern Pennsylvania.

Leadership Pittsburgh is an independent non-profit organization whose goal is “to strengthen regional leadership through programs, partnerships, and connections.” Founded in 1985, it is now regarded as the leading resource for community leadership in Southwest Pennsylvania. On March 10th, we will be sponsoring their Annual Informational Luncheon. It is free and open to all, and will provide information on their programs for established and emerging leaders.

Leadership Pittsburgh’s initiatives aim to equip local community leaders with the knowledge, skills, and inspiration to make our region a better place to live and work. Participants not only gain a deep, behind-the-scenes understanding of the Pittsburgh area, but also join a network of over 2,000 fellow community leaders who are committed to making real change happen. Each Leadership Pittsburgh class partners with local nonprofit organizations to identify, develop, and execute critical projects. Recent projects include:

Between these extensive volunteer projects and the incredible training that Leadership Pittsburgh provides for community leaders—including a new program designed specifically for local veterans—it’s no wonder why we are so thrilled to support the work that they do throughout the region. Their emphasis on community impact mirrors our own commitment to helping the local communities we serve. By sponsoring their Annual Information Luncheon, we hope to help bring even more prospective partners to the table.
